1. The Dynamic Internal Differential Pressure Curve
An air-supported membrane structure relies on internal air pressure differential ($P_i$) to support dead weight and counteract aerodynamic lift. Standard calm weather differential is maintained at **200 to 250 Pa** (approximately 0.002 atmospheres, undetectable to human eardrums).
During severe hurricane storms, the smart PLC automatically shifts into **Storm Resistance Mode**, ramping internal pressure up to **450 Pa**:
$$P_i(v) = P_{base} + k_v cdot rac{1}{2}
ho v^2$$
Where $v$ is real-time wind speed measured by anemometers and $k_v$ is the aerodynamic stabilization coefficient. This extra pressure stiffens the outer membrane, eliminating aerodynamic flutter and wind fatigue.
